MANOMETERS
CIE manufacture a wide range of
manometers to measure the low pressure or statistic pressure of
liquid.It is also used to measure the differential pressure.
We manufacture mainly in three models.
APPLICATION
The MANOMETERS are mainly used to measure very low pressure of which
measurement is not possible by means of pressure gauge. They are
also used to read the differential pressure of the instruments a
pressure drop across the instruments. The units are mostly measured
in terms of water column (Wc) or in terms of Mercury column (Hg).
RANGE - NORMAL RANGES :
0-20mm Wc to 0-1500mm WC
Connection : ¼" B.S.P with Hose Nipple with Al./stainless steel
fittings & milky acrylic scale with transparent acrylic sheet.
'U' TUBE MANOMETER :
It consisting of glass tube
arranged in opposite direction of the same size and connected in the
form if 'U' in order to measure the pressure. The glass tube of 'U'
tuber Manometer is filled with Manometric liquids such as water 'Hg'
Glycerin, Red liquid etc., The pressure measurement is co-related to
water specific gravity which is 1. And the differential measurement
of the limb. When pressure elements are connected if gives the
differential pressure which is measured in terms of particular
liquid column measurement e.g.: Wc. Whenever Hg is used as Manometer
liquid the measurement column is called Mercury column (mm of Hg.)
can be fitted on wall mounting or it can be mounted on the plate
where it is movable and can be used as per the required position.(
i.g. over the table)
CISTERN TYPE
MANOMETER:
Liquid chamber is used along with the
narrow tube and when pressure is applied over the liquid in the
system the liquid will rise in the narrow tube in proportion to the
pressure acting over the system. Which is measured in terms of Wc/Hg.column
passed on the Manometric fluid used.
INCLINED TUBE
MANOMETER:
It specially developed to measure the
very small pressures with the increased length of the scale.
The differential pressure is measured
in terms of Wc or Hg column based on the Manometric fluid is used.
CONSTRUCTION:
CONSISTING OF THE SYSTEM (WALL, TANK) AND THE THIN OR NARROW TUBE IS
CONNECTED TO THE SYSTEM IN INCLINED POSITION.

GAUGE GLASSES
C.I.E. manufactures various types of Gauge Glasses for Boiler and
other general application for use in Chemical and Petrochemical
Industries. The main type Reflex Glass, which works on differences
in refractive index and liquid portion, is easily readable by a
single glass assembly. Transparent/Round Glass is normally used to
have through vision of liquid level or flow of pipeline in the
boiler or process application. Indigenous toughened glass is
suitable for a maximum temperature of 3000C under balanced pressure
application. For high temperature and pressure services special
glass can be offered. Glasses are thermal shock resistant and tested
as per BS 3463/1962 code. Guidance in selecting the glasses and
design details can be offered on request. For server critical
applications imported molded Klinger Glasses or Equivalent can be
offered. Maximum sizes are strip Glass, length of 75cm, and round
glass OD 400mm and thickness upto 32mm suitable gasket and mica
protection sheets are also offered on request. The company can also
offer the borosilicate tubing process scientific glasses to suit
requirements.
